That's strange that he would say migraines, because while some of the symptoms you described would go along with a migraine, they usually start with a loss of vision, seeing strange shapes floating around, etc. I went through a period a few years ago when I was having really nasty migraines. Strangely enough, caffeinated soda helped, almost having an aspirin affect or something.
