Migraines my ass [Dec. 27th, 2006|10:49 pm]
[mood |uncomfortableuncomfortable]
[music |The Wannadies- You and Me Song]

For the last couple of days I have been exhausted, unable to retain calories, achy, and overall miserable. Last night I passed out on my porch with Sam, and then my parents drove me to their house where I have been all day.

The doctor, who was working fifteen minutes past his shift, quickly said it was migraines and prescribed me headache meds.

That doesn't explain how my entire body hurts. Or my inability to eat. My sleeplessness while being fatigued.

I am miserable.

And the headache meds didn't work.

If this is anything like childbirth, I am never fucking going through it. I never want to experience this kind of pain again. Even lying on my back brings me to tears.

Aw that sucks. I had to go to the ER not too long ago for what turned out to be a migrane. It wasnt anything like what youre talking about. Get well soon, love.

That's strange that he would say migraines, because while some of the symptoms you described would go along with a migraine, they usually start with a loss of vision, seeing strange shapes floating around, etc. I went through a period a few years ago when I was having really nasty migraines. Strangely enough, caffeinated soda helped, almost having an aspirin affect or something.

I'm sorry you are feeling so nasty and tired, I've been feeling pretty exhausted myself.

Look on the bright side - if you die, there will be a hell of a malpractice suit involved.
